- Syrniki

Syrniki are a dessert made from tvorog. Tvorog is a Russian fermented milk product, which in English is called cottage cheese, they are similar, but not identical. Typically, they are served with jam, condensed milk or smetana (another Russian fermented milk product, similar to sour cream)
Recipe:
Tvorog - 500 grams
Eggs - 2 pieces
Sugar - 3/4 tablespoons
Salt - a pinch
Flour - 3/4 tablespoons
Vanilla
Mix tvorog, eggs and sugar, as well as vanilla and salt. Then add flour. Form the dough into balls, then press lightly. Fry in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown. Watch the video recipe here.
